CAVA Graduate Featured on CBS LA

CBS Los Angeles interviewed graduating student Iryss Nunez. She spoke with CBS last month about her journey through major facial reconstruction surgery and how attending California Virtual Academies (CAVA) allowed her to continue her education while maintaining her GPA throughout her recovery. She was accepted to multiple UC schools and will attend UCLA this fall as the first in her family to attend a four-year university.
